I was bored and decided to go for a mid day hike. Its only going to get hotter so I might as well enjoy the cooler temps. I had never seen the white tanks so dry. There wasn't any water anywhere and everything looked barren. The plan was to run/jog this trail but the heat sucked the energy out of me after the first 2 miles. I can jog 7-9 miles on the road without any water but hiking in the desert. I can easily drink 3 liters of water in the same distance.
