Impromptu visit today, looking for a Pied-billed Grebe whose Beak is entangled in Fishing Line...
Walked around all three Ponds, but it had disappeared...There have been several reports on it, but when people go out looking, of course they can't find it...I didn't have any better luck today even though I was there within 30 minutes...I think it's hiding in the Cattails and they would be impossible to search...It's sad because it has young that are still counting on it...

Of course, I took my Camera, taking advantage of the Super Zoom to get into those spots that would be hard to see otherwise...And you know I had to hit the Shutter on some other Birds out there...

Hopefully the Grebe can be found, although once it is, catching it will be a whole story in itself, as the only way it is currently impaired, is for feeding...

Not too bad of a day out, as I was out from 12:30 til about 3:00 and never felt too hot...
