| no partners | | The Half Dome hike at Yosemite, by permit only, is one heck of a unique experience. The track I just posted starts at the Happy Isles Shuttle Stop, since this is where most people will begin the hike. It took the four of us about 9 1/2 hours, but the time depends on how much people freeze up on the cables. The best tip I can offer is to take RUBBER gloves. Leather and other materials do not grip the steel cables. Good trail the whole way. Take some time to see the falls, etc along the way. They are spectacular. Last water is the Merced. |
