| partners | | Cool crisp start...great hiking weather. Before noon rain threatened and the sprinkles started. Nice clouds and views while we traversed the ridgeline over to Mt Elden. Things were very green from all the rain and we saw a lot of mushrooms and other fungi. There was also an endurance race of 50km and 50 miles on Elden so we ran into several of the runners. Considering the event still didn't see that many people on the mountain. In the afternoon the rain started coming down harder so things got a little wet but nothing too bad.
