Everything was extremely green with all the recent monsoon rains but that also brought out the people as well. The original plan was Woods Canyon Lake which was over run so we headed down to Bear Canyon Lake instead. Bear was somewhat better but still quite a few people until we hiked around to far side of the lake. Very nice lake to hike around with a few afternoon showers. Some decent meadows and wildflowers on the south side of the lake opposite end from the dam.
