Temps were in the 50s as we started down the gentle slope into Fairyland Canyon. Never got above 63 for the day, but every exposed point on the trail had winds that would make you grab your hat.
Expect this hike to take longer than you planned. Around every curve in the trail is another view that demands a photo. I took about 10 per mile and will treasure many of them for a lifetime.
The trail is not overly crowded considering it is in a national park. We saw maybe 2 dozen hikers on the loop.
The highlights of Tower Bridge and the Chinese Wall are well documented, but there is an amazing abundance of detail surrounding you. Take the time to look closely at where you are and you will be rewarded. This hike can be a moving experience if you open yourself to its beauty and majesty. Strongly recommended. Enjoy!
