See lot of Fall Color - Check
- It was Bustin' Out on a lot more of this track than I'd thought.
Bushwhack down the canyon to See Spring - Check
- A highlight. It was slow going, but worth every minute of the scramble. Color, Rock formations, Tree Cover... it had it all. Long pants recommended!
Hike down Horton Spring Trail - Check
- WOW.... We hit it with perfect light. Sweet views. It gets REAL steep in places. It is cairned, but a GPS track is recomended.
Hear Joe admit I'm Right - Check
- I made him say it a few times. what a refreshing change.
Hike a portion of the Highline I had not been on before - Check
- Who would a thunked that there'd be color on the Highline.
Collect some new words for the Bartels' Dictionary (aka Funky Wagnels) - Oops
- I've gotta start writing them down. They even amuse him!
Finish before dark - Oops
- Took a bit longer bushwhacking down to See Spring than anticipated
Sample some Tibbersnacks - Damn!
- We were late for them, we scurried around the grounds like squirrels thinking she'd hid them, to no avail.
