Chose Siphon Draw today and started my hike at 7:10am. Was curious about surveying those nasty orange arrows. I photographed 20 of them, so the problem is much bigger than just the few near the basin. I came up with a name for this "arrow project" that some moron created. I call it the Wilderness Protection Program for the Mentally Challenged.

Anyway, I moved on past the arrows...they seem to stop at about 3/4 the way up. Apparently, whoever did this doesn't have the stamina to even make it to the top.

I reached the edge of Flatiron at 81 minutes in (about 2 minutes off my personal best.) The arrows slowed me down.

Rested and enjoyed the views for 6 minutes, then back on the trail towards 5024 which was covered in clouds.

Reached the top and visibility was pretty much zero. Could not see Weaver's, Peak 5057 or Flatiron. Nice unobstructed views to the north. Hung out up top for 9 minutes, then realized I was freezing my pumpkin off from the cold high winds and moist air.

Made my way back down through the masses and back to the trailhead 2 hours and 58 minutes after I started.
