| no partners | | Decided to do Siphon Draw to Flatiron today with 2 friends...Great decision!
Started up at 7am and made it up around 9:30. It was my friends first trip up to the top and they were very happy to be there. The trail was beautiful this morning! The clouds were covering/hovering the Flatiron and the nearby peak. Noticed the giant fluorescent orange arrows right away and sighed in disgust 
Once on top of the Flatiron we really enjoyed watching the clouds roll over the tops of the mountain and checked out the views for awhile. My friends thanked me for taking them there and I could tell they were having a good time. Hurray for hiking and the Supes! Wanted to go up to the peak and have my head in the clouds but my friends had to start heading back down so I told them that I would take them farther along the trail someday... Made it back down through a lot of traffic on the way up and when at the bottom of the trail looked back up at the Flatiron and and everyone agreed on what an awesome hike that had been! Now that's a great Saturday morning I tell ya! |
