Got a nice start in the rain from Carney TH, the walk to the Wave Cave turn off was through squishy mud that felt like wet sponges beneath my feet!
Both of my companions enjoyed following my relentless off trail route to the cave and were thoroughly impressed with the size and beauty of the cave itself, we had some fun on the "wave" and with a deep breath we headed up the ravine toward the Ridgeline trail and the Three Sisters.
Once we reached the saddle and the trail we all agreed to turn back toward Boulder Canyon and West Boulder Saddle and back to the jeep.
The hike along the way back was wet and beautiful! Mini waterfalls and clouds covering the tips of the peaks in the distance. Absolutely LOVE the "Soups" on a rainy day!!
