In which azbackpackr gets out on the trail in California, wearing new shoes. For the first time in quite a while she hits the trail, enjoying the warmth of the day, the views of the blue Pacific some miles away, and the wonderful smells of the chaparral, including California Sagebrush, Star Anise, etc. A nice hike.
