| no partners | | I'll definitely be back to this hike! It really delivers some exercise! I am still NOT back in shape. This would kick me back in pretty quick, especially if I carry my multi-day pack. It's less than 20 miles from where I'm living, so not super close, but not bad.
View from summit included Angeles Crest, San Gorgonio, San Jacinto, Palomar, Agua Tibia Mountain, the Cuyamacas, the Pacific Ocean, a lot of Fallbrook, and a big stretch of Interstate 15. That's right, it's one of those so-called "urban interface" hikes.
I met a PCT/AT thru-hiker, trail name is Hippie Longstockings. I am going to try to talk to her again, she was a fountain of information! |
