Spent time "chasing" (in the herron's mind) a herron down the Fria as he/she hopscotched along giving me plenty of photo-ops though only a few panned out. Love this hike, love the water, love the canyon walls. One day we'll make a serious attempt at visting the old mining town but I am always happy to just be, here.
