It was a great day to climb the technical route up Thimble Peak. We had a bit of debate about what gear to bring and in the end we were grateful to have helmets, harnesses, belay/rappel devices, and a rope. John and Joel both free soloed it but then Joel belayed the rest of the group up. I had brought my climbing shoes which I thought was a good idea too, especially with my shoulder issue. We had a few inexperienced people so I found myself tying figure eights for them.

Part of the group just did the hike since there was a couple of dogs that may not have been able to climb.
