| partners | | We're trying to squeeze in a few off trail treks in the Catalinas before they close it due to the bighorns. We decided to go entirely off-trail for this adventure and so we started from the Campbell trailhead.
Love the ridge line up. The views into Pima canyon and of the Pusch Ridge are excellent!
I enjoyed the summit register as always. Finding older dates is always a lot of fun!
I swore that 1000s of shin daggers stabbed me on the way up. I thought that they all must be pointing downhill. Then on the way down 1000 more stabbed me so I guess they must just always point at the hiker!
I had always heard how tough of a hike this is but I guess all our off-trail adventures just made this one no different than any of the others for us. Training makes everything easier! |
