| no partners | | I posted this up on a local paddle club's website, and was very pleased when four people showed up. Being the new kid on the block, and by far the least experienced paddler in the group, it was gratifying. It was fun, and everyone seemed to like it.
El Capitan Reservoir has gone down a lot since the last time I paddled there, 3 weeks ago. We paddled to the end, as far as we could. You can see by my GPS route that we were not very near the end, had the lake been full! There were a lot of power boats, but it's fairly easy to avoid them--you just follow the shoreline. |
