This area along Stockton Pass to the south has no established trails (and never will), just Forest Service roads to wander, so I doubt very many hike back into or even know about the amazing boulder formations within ..... and that's too bad! This afternoon I got a couple of more unexplored miles in and it quickly became one of those hikes that I did not want to see the sun go down. I've really only scratched the surface of this large area on this my 4th trip, but the good news is that I've got the rest of my life to see it all! |
