Arrived at the parking area to see my buddy parked and getting ready to head up, so I had a partner for this one. He told me that I was going to meet a unique individual "David from New York" who has been camping on the road for the last 2 weeks. Half a mile up and I met David, very nice & very unique full time mountain man/chainsaw wood carver! After a enjoyable conversation with David, we continued up and around to the end of the road with my buddy turning back and myself continuing on solo around the mountain along the foot trail for the "Pinaleno Bowl" view. I then spent some time at the Jacobson overlook on the way back down, stopped and had another enjoyable conversation with David before arriving back at my truck just after dark. And once again ........ the RTN did not lead to OZZY  |
