| partners | | Day 2 of my 8 Day Trip down South...It was good to Hike with Chad again and see an area that I always thought would be good in the milder Winter/Spring Months...This Area has always intrigued when I've driven it and this was a good time to see it up close and personal....
Grasslands, a few Poppies, multiple, mega Boulder Formations, a very sweet Snake Encounter and an easy grade for most of the Hike made for a pleasant day even though the heavy overcast made the Photography a challenge...It's been awhile since I've done this Mileage with my regular Daypack which I weighted down fairly heavy for Conditioning and I really felt it the last couple of miles. I've needed a decent Hike with weight for awhile and after some Ibuprofen, it was all good...  Definitely a very cool area... 
Finished the Day off with an awesome Sunset and then thieving Raccoons!
Thanks for the Tour Chad, it was a good one! I can see there is a lot more out there that I want to see and do for sure!  |
