I told them that I could make it to the top in 15 minutes. I was well on my way and in the final stretch going up a sketchy area I put speed before safety. Whoops! Loose rock pulled away and I nearly took a fall. Luckily it resulted in only flesh wounds with a little blood to rock exchange.
This event got my attention so I took it easy on the last 50 feet up. 17.5 minutes to the top! Darn it!
On the way down I did some more exploring and found tons of artillery ordnance. These shells are scattered everywhere. Kind of crazy yet fascinating. |
