Second hike of the day. Black Cross Butte 3351. I really enjoyed the scramble up this one and again the views of the surrounding area were fantastic.

This time Joe stepped straight over a rattler but it took a second for the snake to sound his alarm. For some reason this one didn't spook me like the first encounter over on Bronco Butte. On the way down he spotted another one. This one was smaller and was curled up taking a siesta.

Cool spot and great hike.
