Out in the snow with Phil today. We hiked up Romero Canyon until we lost the trail in the snow at about 5200 feet, about 1 mile from the saddle or so.

Today was such a great day. The temps were perfect, probably between 45-55 all day with plenty of sunshine. There was a lot of snow up in the higher country and clouds mingling with the peaks.

The upper reaches of the Romero Canyon can present route finding issues in ideal situations, we decided not to get cute in the snow.

Absolutely perfect day.
