kiwanis is in good shape
national has a few places of rock slide near the mine between goat hill and ranger
ranger has more loose rock than usual
los lomitas is washed out in places
did the loop for something different, but next time will do the out and back
i can't recommend hiking ranger right now
always good to be up on goat hill
the use trail up is somewhat overgrown
lots of ground cover on all of south mountain similar to what is in johnlp's photo of the day:

humidity has gone back up a bit
saw about 200 caterpillars, which is much less that last friday
half dozen other hikers
