My girlfriend and I took another trip back to Roper Lake and Mt. Graham. We stayed a couple nights in the Bass cabin, and just had an amazing time again. We stayed Sunday and Monday nights, and surprisingly every other cabin was booked both nights. No problem, though. The Bass cabin is the most secluded, and we had a great view of the lake from our patio. I love how peaceful and full of wildlife this lake is.

When we got to Safford a pretty intense thunderstorm hit for a couple hours, which petered out as we got to Roper Lake. Our first night we took a stroll around the lake and sat and watched the sun set behind Mt. Graham. Beautiful. We planned to spend the whole next day on Mt. Graham, and the day after that we were heading to Apache Pass, Willcox, and the Chiricahuas. I couldn't wait.
