There used to be an apple orchard at Tony Ranch so I checked to see if any trees remain but couldn't find one. The next mission was to look for the cave. Since limestone caves are formed by water I searched near the unnamed spring by the creek northeast of the ranch. I went up a cool side canyon and hiked almost to the top and back down. I saw lots of limestone but no caves. I stopped to eat a few snacks and looked some more by the creek. I found a few holes that looked interesting but went nowhere. It's a fun area to explore but can be rough going. Good Luck with the search JJ3.
