Making progress!! 
Brad took kids to church while I neglected family and God to get more miles knocked out for ATC challenge. Did a funky figure 8 loop - actually kind of proud to come up with shortest and most efficient route to gather up little segments.
* Latigo now extends to Whiskey Bottle loop * which is great to connect Brown's Ranch TH with Fraesfield TH.
Powerline #2 not so bad now that I can compare it to West World Trail, LOL. Yucca trail kind of boring and not that many yucca. Dixileta Trail along the Scottsdale National Golf Course very pretty to me. Probably because I like golf and the juxtaposition of desert with chemically-enhanced grass. Not natural or good for the environment, but it makes for pretty desert golf photos.
I helped three groups of people find their way on the trails - that's why I wear my MSC badge and ask anyone staring at a trail sign if they need help. Lots of friendly bikers out there - only one small group of hikers. |
