This was an in and out hike with some exploring along the way. I hiked Dutchman, Whiskey, Red Tanks to Trap Canyon. I explored a while and did a flip/roll on a loose slope. No injuries but I wasn't finding anything good so I ventured out. I walked up on some bees but they were docile so no worries. I decided to visit the metate Lee found. I ended up on a steep scramble but I didn't want to go down so I kept going. Once at the metate I realized why it's still there and most people would never see it. I scrambled down a much easier route and hit the trail again. The trails were in good shape water was available in Whiskey Canyon, Trap Canyon and La Barge Creek. Nice day for a hike.
