I took a trip to Trap Canyon to check out the crack mine. I hiked for a while with a guy named Todd who recently moved here from Florida. Turns out he lives 2 miles from me. On the way in I poked around Whiskey Canyon and think I found where the plane wreck was located before it was removed. The crack mine was interesting but nothing too special. On the way out I saw another cardinal and got a little closer this time. The trails are in good shape and busy on the weekends.
