I heard about another mine and thought I'd check it out. Kyle, John9l and Clairebear were at the trailhead so I hiked with them until the Second Water/Dutchman junction. The trail was wet and plenty of water was flowing but staying out out the water was still possible. I stooped at Caballo camp to look at the inscriptions then continued on to look foe the mine. The first attempt failed but I had some time so I went a little farther and found the hole. This mine took a lot of work. You need to be careful inside as there is a shaft to the left that drops down about 5 feet. After exploring I made a hasty retreat.
