It's crazy it's been over 3 years since I've been up here. I've wandered all over the rest of the Supes, but haven't made it back here. It is every bit of as excellent as I remember. I've always said the best day to hike is the day after a rain storm. This trip didn't disappoint. I set out with my Nikon and my nifty-fifty (50mm 1.8) and saw some things I've never seen out there. Not so much water in Boulder Canyon, but droplets covered everything along the trail.

The clouds stayed away most of the day but rolled over the ridge and onto the top right as I was settling in to eat lunch at the summit. Worried about slick rock on my way down, I hustled off the top shortly after arriving. The rain quickly subsided and I made it down without issue. I ate lunch in solitude at the junction of Boulder Canyon and 2nd Water and headed back up and out.
