We all think in different ways.
I was telling a math teacher friend of mine (who is into weight training) about my hike up to the window. We talked for a good hour or more about the hike and this is what she came up with.
The hike is 12.8 miles round trip and 4,300 feet elevation gain, in 10 hours.
1 mile is 5,280 feet in length, 12.8*5280=67,584 feet
1 squat is about 1.5 feet in length,
So according to her calculation I did (67,584/1.5) 45,056 squats in 10 hours.
This explains why I’m sore today.
