| no partners | | | Great day for a hike and we were surprised how few people we saw today. Perhaps everyone was taking advantage of the free National Parks day just up the road at Mt. Rainier NP. Trail was in good shape. We almost 4 miles to the section that opens up and gives good views of Mt. Rainier. And the mountain was out today. Virtually no bugs and wildflowers are just starting to come out. Saw our first trillium of the season. Thought the falls might be a little low on water but they were beautiful as always. Overall a great and peaceful day out on the trail today. |
