| partners | | Second hike of the day. This one is super easy and a lot of fun. Just past the trailhead, hang a right at the sign that says "Escalante" and just follow the trail. The five river crossings are all easy, but bringing a pole along helps. Our hike started out sunny and warm, but by the time we were near the bridge, it was gloomy and thundering. We only hung out at the bridge for a few minutes, then headed back. Perfect timing, because the thunder was getting louder the entire way back, and it started raining on us about 100 feet from the car. |
