| no partners | | | I couldn't really decide what I wanted to do this morning until the last minute. I had intended to hike somewhere much cooler, but time constraints made me choose the closest thing to my house. And I'm planning on hiking with friends tonight, so I didn't want anything too long, but also long enough to be satisfying in case tonight doesn't work out. I got an early start, still needing a headlamp for the first 20 minutes or so. I made my way up Pyramid, passing some javelinas in the wash, west on National, a short break up on Goat Hill, then down Lost Ranch Mine and back to the car. Once I got to the top of Pyramid, the breeze felt very nice, and it was a pretty sunrise. |
