| partners | | | Headed out to make a loop out past Checkmate or IQ Arch, wanted to bushwhack as much as possible and stay off the trails to see what we could see that was different. We were happy we followed game, horse and of course human trails. Found an old mine dug into the wash, which looked like it wasn't worked to long ago, seen Gold Miners working a wash, an area where someone mined years ago, spotted a nice cave tucked away where no one would notice unless you were right on it. Worked our way over to the Willow Springs Basin Loop Trail and headed back to the TH. Great little hike with a lot to see. |
