Sedona Loop Hike
Sedona Loop Hike
I was down south doing another hike out of my Boots and Burgers book with Joe and Bruce. The book had us driving to far for the burger so we added another hike instead. This one is in the 100 hikes book so that worked out good. We were a little weathered from the earlier hike but the history kept our spirits up. The Ranger station closes at 4 so we had to hustle. We checked out the cemetery and Apache spring then went to the Ranger station to check out the cool stuff. On the way to check out the old Fort the Ranger had Bruce help him take down the American Flag and fold it. I thought that was pretty cool. We were walking around looking at all the old foundations when the clock struck 4:00 PM. Taps starting playing from the Ranger station and we all stopped momentarily out of respect. Interesting area and I'm glad we added this hike on to our trip.
