| no partners | | | This is another hike from the Boots and Burgers book. It start at the Yavapai Vista Trailhead. It's on the southbound road between Sedona and Oak Creek Village. There is a few mix and match trails here that are popular with Mountain bikers as well. You need to take Kiabab to Slim Shady to Hiline. I really liked this for a short Sedona Trail. It compares to the Hangover trail but not quite as hard. Great views of Bell Rock and Courthouse Butte to start. From there you start heading towards Cathedral Rock and past it on the south side. The mountain bikers do this as a one way and tie it in with other trails to make a loop. I did it as an out and back and really enjoyed it. I chatted with a nice young mountain bike couple for awhile. Her from Norway and him Canada (BC). Fun couple. After the hike I went to PJ's Pub on the books recommendation. MmmMmm, good burger. |
