The day was warm, and almost over as I drove through Apache Pass. Gotta get some exercise! This was my first summer hike at the Fort, and everything was green and blooming from May's mini-monsoon. Enjoyed a nice sunset upon reaching Fort Bowie. Wildlife sighted included a rabbit, lizards, and a young California couple who screamed and ran when I surprised them while jogging down the trail at dusk. Sorry! Or am I?
