| no partners | | | I've never seen Humphreys that crowded, there were queues for the steep and rocky sections. There probably were 40 people at the saddle, and over 30 at the summit. There are quite a few snow patches left on the trail below the saddle, but they're all hard-packed and muddy, and probably will be gone within days if the current temperatures keep up. No snow above the saddle until the final section before the summit, and that likely won't last more than two weeks. |
