Pt Imperial Trail, swim through locust, Kaibab ridge, Coconino Break (webbing or rope!), swim through locust and oak, swim through aspen, swim through more locust, Hermit Shale, swim through manzanita....are you noticing a trend?
we didn't make it this trip, we were smart to head out this weekend when NPS has issued an excessive heat warning, it was 108 degrees in the Esplanade!! WE WERE SO CLOSE!!!!
