Mike, Kim, and I set out to do a quick morning canyon before lunch. We stopped and played in the first pool we could find to stay cool. From there we did 4 rappels (75 ft, 15 ft, 30 ft, and 100 ft). The water levels were down about 5 feet which made this trip suitable for beginners. As the water levels increase I can see this turning into a big disaster for people who don't know swift water. The amount of trash was discouraging so we are thinking of returning to do a clean up trip (depending on water levels we may invite others).

I tried out my new rappel rack. I've been invited on a big Montana caving trip so I needed to get an appropriate rappel device that doesn't twist rope.

We found a soccer ball midway and then proceeded to play kick the ball down the canyon until the hike out. Fun day!
