Hot! Started in the low 90s on a pretty tough climb up onto the ridge. After a few miles the grade somewhat levels out, but the shindaggers come into play. Once above 4500 or so the breeze picked up and the temps cooled a bit, hike became very pleasant. My goal was about 10-12 miles, turned around at 4.6 because of time. In spite of the clear, sunny forecast, I witnessed and photographed an incredible, stormy sunset from the ridge. Beautiful area, have at least one more trip planned in the Rincons in the near future.
