My Girlfriend's dad got a new-to-him truck and he wanted to test out the 4wd, he is more of a pavement pounder. My go to spot for newbies is Bulldog Canyon. Its easy, close to home and the views are great. We went in on FR3554 and then came out on FR10 at wolverine pass. Its a nice route. I was out here about a year ago and FR10 had been recently graded which is no fun, but today it was getting back to its old ways. Not much traffic, ran across a few campers.
