| partners | | Bar none, one of my absolute favorite hikes in the Whites. 2 problems with it - it's super crowded (especially on weekends - AND it was Labor Day weekend, which didn't help!), and it's super far away from our cabin in Maine. But the views are TOTALLY worth the drive and people dodging!!!! It is such an incredibly beautiful area of the Whites, which is why it's so popular.
Tug kicked my pumpkin the entire time - just relentless up those steep, rocky hills!!! Too funny that all kinds of people asked me "how does the dog do on this hike?", and I'm like "well LOOK at him - he's about 1/2 mile ahead of me!" How does the dog do - pishah - how about me?? He's killing me here! And he refuses to stop for breaks or pictures!!! It's GO GO GO!!! I want to soak up the views the entire ridge line, and he's just marching marching!!! Tuggie -
Once again, your eyes may hurt from all the pictures (no time to edit), but honestly it'll only be from the beauty - you can't handle all the beauty! |
