Baja Arizona Hiking

I got to the TH about 5-10 mins after those guys all left, so I hurried to try to catch up. Caught up about 3 or so miles in. Luckily before the turn off to the gully we headed up for the bushwhack part of the hike. I can't believe I've never been on the Pima Canyon trail before! If I have, I don't remember it. I was going to try to jog to catch up with them, but it was quite rocky and uneven, so I just hiked fast. It was quite pokey throughout the rest of the day, and I managed to get more thorns to add to my collection in my hands, legs and butt!!

But goes with the territory. The scramble up wasn't so bad, but the way down (as I knew it would be) was quite nail-biting :scared:

I freely admitted I was the wuss of the group and wanted to be belayed down the 20' or so down-climb. It wasn't so bad once on belay. :lol:

Great views from up top, and a good, fast crew. Perfect hiking weather!
