Very short hike up South Mountain with the Gabster. Had a very disappointing weekend so I HAD to get something in. No baseball and no hiking = no bueno. Made it a mile in and suddenly got very ill. I stopped short of National and just chilled out up on some rocks and just enjoyed the weather for a while. The clouds hovering over the city were incredible. I love how quiet and serene it is up there. Talked with a few other dog people and made my way down. Not sure what came over me, but it pretty much summed up the weekend. Maybe it was all of the dog poo littering this trail, it is everywhere, and after the rain... :sk:
