This is one of the few hikes I did one way. I started at South Helvitia Road and headed North to Sahuarita Road (Hwy 83). This hike was rather warm as I finished the day, probably better done a little earlier in the year. There was no water along the trail except at Twin Tanks. There were some fruit trees growing in Mulberry canyon as if there was an orchard there at onetime. Not sure if they were apple or peach or something else. Most of the elevation gain is from North to South but it is gradual. Not a real exciting trail but good views Northward of Rincon Mountains and Rincon Valley.
