| no partners | | | This was a short hike up the fairly new Quilter Trail. I live near by so I was checking out the alternative way up to Mica Mountain and Manning Camp. We use to go through the X-9 back in the 60's but this option is no longer available. The only other reasonable route is through Happy Valley and the Miller Canyon Trail. I am glad to see this route is now available. This trail is well maintained and has some great views overlooking Madrona ranger Station and Chimenea canyon. |
