The Hope Camp Trail is an interesting hike the first few times you do it but gets old after that. There is a lot of history along that Trail including a F. Ronstadt Windmill from the Ronstadt Hardware store in Tucson. Very nice hike in the winter and early spring because the streams are usually running. I was interested in seeing the Rocking K Ranch portion of the hike because even though I live next to it I have never been on it. I remember this ranch from the 60's when it was still a working ranch and the fields along Rincon Creek were irrigated and green, has changed a lot in 50 years. |
