A quick 15 minute drive after work and ending up in a quiet isolated canyon is absolute paradise to me!
Not quite the water I was hoping for but I could tell this place recently flashed as there was a lot of new large debris
all throughout the creek bottom.
Water heater, car tires, lawn chairs were just some of the many objects that came from upstream so this place definitely sees some serious water flow after a good storm.
Typical steep exploratory off trail bushwhack hike that was finished a little after 8pm as usual. |
